FAQs

What is different about Sybil?

Sybil’s hemp products have higher doses of purely extracted, full spectrum CBD in addition to the hemp plants minor cannabinoids, CBG, and CBN. Naturally occurring terpenes extracted from the plant are also carefully selected and added back into the formulation for their ability to enhance either focus during the daytime or relaxation at night.

Our Longevity #1 supplement is made with Nicotinamide Mononucleotide (NMN), an alternative form of vitamin B3 and a naturally occurring molecule your body makes. Like other forms of vitamin B3, your body converts NMN into NAD, a coenzyme that acts as fuel for your body’s day-to-day functions. As you age, your NMN levels will naturally decline over time, which means so will your NAD levels. Taking an NMN supplement, combined with a healthy lifestyle and diet can help to boost your body’s cellular levels of NAD and promote healthy aging.

Frequently Asked Questions:

How can I find out what’s in each of your products?

There are QR codes displayed on each product that will show you the results of third party laboratory tests listing exactly what is in each bottle and certifying that the ingredients are pure and non-toxic.

Are these ingredients addictive?

All of our products are non-psychoactive so they will not give you a “high” feeling. Nor are they addictive.

Will CBD make me drowsy?

CBD is not a sedative. It will help you relax.

What is the difference in effectiveness between a sublingual tincture, softgel or gummy?

As soon as you drop a tincture underneath your tongue, your body begins to absorb the oil through the tissues in your mouth, bypassing your digestive system, entering your bloodstream, and engaging with your Endocannabinoid System (ECS). This ends up being much more effective (and faster) than taking a softgel or gummy as the tincture remains more potent and intact.

CBD that enters your system orally (softgel or gummy) goes through your digestive tract and is processed through your gut, so it may take longer to notice the effects.

Will I fail a drug test if I am taking Sybil products?

We use Full Spectrum CBD which contains less than 0.3% of THC. We always err on the side of being overly cautious and want to ensure you’re aware that the use of our products may show up on a drug test.

Can I take Sybil’s products with my current medication?

As listed on each bottle, it is recommended that you ask your physician before using our products if you are pregnant or nursing, have a serious medical condition or use any prescription medications.

What is the difference between CBD, CBG and CBN?

All are plant-derived compounds or cannabinoids found in the hemp plant and non-intoxicating substances meaning, they will not give you a “high” feeling.

Cannabidiol (CBD) is one of the many powerful plant compounds found in hemp plants (from the leaves, stalks and flowers). It is non-psychoactive so hemp-derived CBD users will not experience a “high” sensation more commonly found in the use of marijuana.

Cannabinol (CBN) and Cannabigerol (CBG) are both chemical compounds found in the hemp plant. CBN is created when THC is exposed to light and is commonly found in aged cannabis plants. CBN’s effects can come in the form of restfulness, calm and relaxation serving as a natural, non-psychoactive sleep aid.

CBG is found in the early growth stages of the hemp plant, and is often nicknamed the “mother of all cannabinoids” because it imitates endocannabinoids, the natural compounds our body makes. Our body has two types of cannabinoid receptors (CB1 in the nervous system and brain and CB2 in the immune system and other parts of the body) and CBG works its magic since it’s able to bind to both receptors. It does not contain psychoactive effects and it is best used for increasing focus, energy and attention span.

What is the “Entourage Effect”?

This describes how different compounds in cannabis work interactively to produce benefits. When it comes to our products, the use of Full Spectrum hemp (or the use of the whole natural plant) contributes to the product’s overall effectiveness rather than individually extracted cannabinoids on their own. The products are delivered to you as nature intended them to be.

What is a terpene?

Terpenes are the aromatic compounds found in plants. Think of when you smell fruit or a flower, that is its terpenes working their magic. In terms of cannabis, terpenes are the compounds that give the plant its unique aroma. There is evidence suggesting that terpenes have physiological effects on the body, for instance, linalool for calming and limonene to be more energizing.

What is Nicotinamide Mononucleotide (NMN)? And what are its benefits?

NMN is a naturally occurring molecule that your body makes. This particular type of molecule is called a nucleotide. In your cells, NMN is converted to another molecule called nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide (NAD) which is one of the most important molecules when it comes to longevity and anti-aging. Like all things with age, our NMN levels will naturally decline over time, which means so will our NAD levels.

Although NMN naturally occurs in many food sources like avocado, tomato, broccoli, and the list goes on, you’d need to eat a lot of the veggies to increase your NMN and NAD levels. That’s where our Longevity #1 NMN supplement can help. When combined with an active lifestyle and healthy diet, the benefits can include increased energy levels, regulated blood sugar, weight loss, improved brain function, and slowed aging.
